The Sex - Only Slightly Touched Men, Women Body Temperature Jump Up

The Sex - The skin is sensitive body parts. Touch on the skin can affect the emotional and physical condition. The study found that just a little touch of a stranger or strangers can make a woman's body temperature rises, especially if the touch is the man.

Scientists from the University of St Andrews is also found that women face temperature rise is higher when interacting with men than when interacting with women.

Researchers recruited 16 heterosexual women aged 19-24 years. The researchers secretly monitor the participant's body temperature using a thermal imaging in the face while pretending to assess skin tones. Monitoring carried out in four different areas of the body.

The findings showed the touch of a woman produces an average temperature change of about 0.1 ° C. The temperature rise that occurs will be higher if the area is more personal touch, such as the face and chest. Effect of this increase is more striking if the touch is the man.

"We found that the touch can raise the temperature of the face, even when it happens accidentally as observed in the laboratory," said the researcher, Amanda Hahn, of the University of St Andrews in Scotland as reported by Medical Daily, Thursday (05/31/2012).

In a report published journal Royal Society Biology Letters, the findings confirm previous research which confirms that the increase in the face and body temperature associated with increased sexual desire. For example, the skin temperature will rise when a man is sexually stimulated.

Not only the passion, fear and stress are also known to raise the temperature of the face. Stress can be caused by lying or making a difficult task. The temperature rise caused by stress occurs on the forehead and around eyes.

Previous research has found that the redness of the face shown to make people look more attractive. When the face does not show color changes, temperature changes can be detected faces still others through touch. Rise in body temperature can serve as a signal to yourself to change the behavior or it could be a signal to others.

"Unfortunately we did not know whether these temperature changes can be detected by others or not. If a change is detected, then this could act as social cues," says Hahn.
