The Sex - This risk is Leaving Ugly Sperm fertilize eggs

The Sex - Many couples are less fortunate who are obsessed to have children and are willing to do anything in order to fulfill his desire. One way in which IVF is the procedure. In couples where the sperm-old man was no longer qualified, the result can be alarming.

In vitro fertilization methods there is a technique called ICSI, or intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection, the method of fertilization in vitro fertilization by injecting a single sperm into an egg cell.

Technique a single sperm is often done if the man has low sperm count, many abnormal sperm, or in extreme cases, have no sperm at all. All of these conditions cause the sperm to have a very small chance to produce fertilization.

"Many people argue, of course, the sperm quality is as good as the others. That is wrong. Sperm to the egg first before all other sperm is the sperm of the most superior, faster, more powerful, more than others," said Dr. Miriam Stoppard, a leading expert on family health of London as reported by the Daily Mirror, Sunday (07/08/2012)).

According to Dr. Stoppard, dangerous journey to fertilize an egg cell is useful to ensure that only the strongest sperm come out as winners. But with IVF methods, this does not happen.

Sperm that are used have not been tested by any method and may be less qualified. In this procedure, eggs are placed under a microscope and then injected with sperm from a male partner. If the egg has been fertilized, the fertilization was placed in the woman's uterus ready for implantation. This process is known as 'embryo transfer'.

"The doctors and scientists are always concerned with the physical condition of infants produced by the method of sperm. Several studies have recently confirmed that the fears are true. Data show an increase in the risk of significant birth defects," said Dr. Stoppard.

Researchers at the University of Adelaide in South Australia is a large scientific research to find answers to these concerns. The findings of an analysis of 300,000 more births showed that the rate of birth defects in the method of sperm is 1 in 10 births.

The amount is quite large when compared with unassisted births, where the level of disability is about 6 out of 100 births. This finding also confirms that not the method that causes birth defects, but sperm used was defective and less quality.

Low sperm quality is also suspected of causing the suffering of children born with autism, but not many studies that confirm this. In addition to its age, sperm quality may also decline because of lifestyle such as smoking and eating lots of food beremak, as well as many testicular exposure to heat.
