The Sex
The Sex - More than 1,000 hospitals in all over Indonesia, there were 300 new hospitals that could provide treatment for people living with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), the form of antiretroviral therapy (antiretroviral).

ARV drugs are anti-retroviral therapy that combines several types of drugs and has been recommended for treating patients with AIDS is widespread.

"There are only 300 hospitals in Indonesia that can provide ARV treatment (Antiretroviral). Only 300, imagine," said Dr. Nafsiah Mboi, SpA, MPH, Secretary of the Indonesia National AIDS Commission (KPAI), on the sidelines of the seminar 'Beyond MDGs: The role of Indonesia as the State Medium Income in Troubleshooting and Sexual Rights and Reproductive Health 'at the Faculty of Medicine, Jakarta, Monday (05/21/2012).

Dr Nafsiah itself to ARV treatment can be administered at the health center, because otherwise people with HIV-AIDS (PLWHA) who live far from hospitals will find it difficult to get treatment.

"The treatment itself is free, but to be paid the laboratory, the doctor's fees or other fees, it does not much at least $ 10 thousand," said Dr. Nafsiah.

Having tested positive for HIV, there is usually a period of 5-10 years old virus really can 'paralyze' the sufferer. AIDS arise as a result of the proliferation of HIV virus in the human body. Though now with ART (Antiretroviral) people with HIV-AIDS can live longer with the disease.

Once the virus enters the body, then the virus will develop rapidly. This virus will invade CD4 lymphocytes (T cells) and destroy white blood cells that affects the immune system. People with HIV will have a number of small white blood cells.

In the early stages of infection, the virus usually does not show signs or symptoms. Symptoms appear after two to four weeks.

Early symptoms of HIV are experiencing severe headaches, fever, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpit or groin.

As quoted from the WHO website, when a person infected with the early symptoms sometimes appear similar to the flu or a viral infection is.

At an advanced stage of HIV symptoms show rapid weight loss without any reason, dry cough, recurring fever or sweating at night, fatigue, diarrhea is more than a week, memory loss, depression and other nervous disorders.
