UI Rector Prof.Dr. Rusliwa Gumilar der Soz inaugurated the Faculty of Pharmacy, UI Somantri witnessed the Republic of Indonesia State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan, the leaders, students and alumni of the UI, on Saturday (5/12/2012) at the Hall of UI Depok Campus.
Changes in the Department of Pharmacy Faculty of Pharmacy Faculty UI UI becomes listed in the SK MWA No.143A/H2.MWA/OTL.00.00 Pembentukan/2011 23 November 2011 and Rector No.2408A/SK/R/UI/2011 on 29 November 2011.
These changes are associated with the development of pharmaceutical science and supported by the presence of three clumps of science in the UI that is Clumps of Health Sciences, Science clumps and clumps of Science and Technology Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Pharmacy, where entry into the clumps of Health Sciences.
UI changes to the Department of Pharmacy Faculty of Pharmacy Faculty is supported by a readiness in many fields, including 13 qualified and accredited laboratory for education and research, the teachers are competent in which 63 per cent of lecturers hold PhD Professor and three active and have a complete education program, the degree (S1), Pharmacist Education Program, Graduate (S2) and Doctorate (S3). In addition, based on tracer study, the waiting period pharma UI graduate work is not more than 1 month.
"The students who enrolled in the Pharmacy department has an excellent future. Along with the demands of the future where all people are afraid of pain, the Pharmacy has a great chance to answer these people's fears. Gait that has been done of them in education and research is through national and international research collaborations, the establishment of Center for Natural Products and Medicine in collaboration with various parties, both of the Pharmacists Association of Indonesia, Indonesian Association of Higher Education of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Industry, Government, Hospital / Pharmacy, Institute for Research and Faculty / School of Pharmacy both at home and abroad to produce quality products and beneficial to public health and has graduated 3132 Pharmacists.
With the inauguration of the Faculty of Pharmacy to be a move expected to strengthen UI Pharmaceutical face of increasingly selective and competitive in both national and global level and able to excel in the field of health care and pharmaceutical science and technology.
In addition, in order to meet the era of the establishment of the Social Security Administering Health and the National Social Security System in order to achieve the nation's standard of living and better health.
