The sex -  In modern life is paced in a hurry, it seems few people can wake up without an alarm. Yet this habit can be bad for health, which makes people fat because experiencing rapid social jet lag.

According to researchers from the University of Munich, phone alarm sounds and an alarm clock in the morning is very disturbing the body's biological clock. Body naturally has a cycle of drowsiness, which if disturbed it greatly affects health in general.

The term 'social jet lag' refers to the disruption of the biological clock, as experienced in the real jet lag after flying across different time zones. The difference, jet lag induced by differences in social rhythm on weekdays, with weekends free from alarm sounds.

Alarms are used to awaken someone, especially on weekdays, because of work schedules or other activity that requires him to get up early. If it's not supposed to need to sleep longer, someone will wake up by itself even without the alarm.

"Wake up with alarm is a new thing in our lives. It's a sign we do not have enough time to sleep and that's why we feel tired," said one researcher, Prof Till Roenneberg as quoted by ScienceDaily, Friday (11/05/2012).

Research conducted by Prof. Roenneberg-bari new shows, the biological clock is disturbed by an alarm could increase the risk of obesity. The findings are consistent with previous results of other studies, which says that lack of sleep makes a person fat faster.

Not only lead to obesity, social jet lag triggered alarm sound also makes the person likely to fatigue during the day. This condition as well as increasing the likelihood of an unhealthy, such as drinking too much coffee, drinking alcohol and smoking.
