The vagina is a sensitive part for a woman. There are some facts you need to know about the woman's vagina.

In a book titled V is for Vagina, Dr. Alyssa Dweck wrote some facts about the vagina as reported by the shape, Wednesday (09/05/2012), among others:

A. You do not need to frequently clean the vagina

Vaginal discharge is normal, but if you have a vaginal odor might be something to do with lifestyle, stress and diet.

The vagina also has its own natural cleaning method that has a balance between the yeast and bacterial vaginal aimed at keeping us in top condition.

"Too often even clean the vagina with soap products can actually cause vaginal itching and irritation that interferes with the natural balance of bacteria in your vagina" says Dr. Dweck.

If foul vaginal odor, excessive discharge, vaginal itching and irritation, consult a doctor.

2. The vagina has the ability to heal itself quickly

The vagina is rich in blood supply that can help healing after injury or childbirth. It did not take long to make the vagina back to health after childbirth.

3. The vagina can reveal the best time to conceive

"If you have a menstrual cycle for 28 days with one day be the first day of your menstrual period, you will usually ovulate around day 14. Just before ovulation, cervical mucus is produced excessive vaginal discharge and will be more smooth and elastic," says Dr. Dweck.

Your sex drive may be inflated at the moment. So of the vaginal environment, you'll know when the right time to plan a pregnancy.

4. Is vaginal discharge a sign of PMS

"G-spot can be found by inserting your index finger into the vagina with the palm facing upward and gently rubbing the part," said Dr. Dweck.
